And then there were VIDEOS
Colleges need to effectively communicate to students what they specialize in and what they're all about (their "message"). Students need information from the colleges in order to make an educated (no pun intended) decision about where they're going to go to school. So, with myUsearch not only are students provided with an unbiased matching process, but to enhance a student's decision, we have also included college videos that will provide even more information both visually and narratively to help students with this decision.

This also helps colleges to properly communicate their "message" and make sure that the students that enroll in their college are students that are more likely to not only attend, but graduate from their institution. It also gives colleges the ability to put a face on the college by showing off their campus, classrooms, instructors and students currently attending.

myUsearch signing up colleges
Colleges are finally able to work directly with myUsearch. So, what does this mean to students?

  • Students' college matches have been operating quite accurately, but NOW they'll become even MORE accurate
  • Students will be provided more information on their college matches
  • Students will be able to link directly to college sites
  • Students will now have the luxury of having their desired colleges pursue them

This is a big step in completing our mission (increase access to education & help colleges), and we're always listening to students to add even more valued services.

At least 10% of profits go to myUsearch scholarships
We believe in education, and now we're putting our wallet where our mouth is. In our pursuit of helping students and colleges we have decided to develop our own scholarship program that will focus on the underserved sector of students. Our goal is to eliminate, or at least limit, students from dropping out of college due to financial reasons. Students have a direct impact on our scholarships. Just by using the myUsearch college matching online service, each student will contribute to our growing scholarship program. And they didn't even have to give us a dime!  What a deal!

HELLO WORLD!!!
Change is-a-coming! myUsearch is now available to students across the world looking for the perfect U.S. college match, and we're going to change the way online college search tools work. "Oh, and how do you plan to do that?" For starters, colleges will not be able to advertise to unrelated students. Most sites are cluttered with advertisements (the scapegoat method for sites to generate revenue), but good luck finding these on myUsearch. We're going to provide students with relevant questions to TRULY determine a college match (no more "put in your zip code and.............ta-da.............your perfect college matches"). We list colleges regardless of whether they're paying us.  It's the only way to provide a truly unbiased service to both students and colleges.

No more open market for selling user's information, either. We're selective. We only work with colleges, and specifically with each user's matching colleges. It's all in the interest of our customers. They make myUsearch work, and we're dedicated to protecting what they want as a customer.
