Need money for college? myUsearch scholarships
Our mission: myUsearch exists to increase access to education by improving the college recruiting process. In addition to helping students find their perfect college and colleges find their perfect students, we direct at least 10% of profits to our scholarship program. As more people use myUsearch, more scholarships will be available (tell all your friends!). Paying for college is a huge challenge. We hope our scholarships will help.

Complete the myUsearch.com college matching questionnaire to find your college match.
After you complete the college matching questionnaire, click on "My Search is Complete".
Fill out the scholarship right away or use the login and password that will be emailed to you to apply later.
Complete the online application, including essay.
Your application will be reviewed.
myUsearch Scholarships
International and Undocumented Student Scholarship $1,000 Deadline 7/15/2009 Live abroad and want to study in the US? Does your citizenship status prevent you from enrolling as a US student? myUsearch will award a $1000 scholarship to the student who can best answer how the completion of a US degree will impact their life, their family and their home community.
The scholarship is open to any students who have completed the myUsearch matching questionnaire, are NOT a US citizen and will begin their first semester at an accredited US undergraduate institution on or before October 1, 2010 (transfer students are also eligible). Follow the directions above to apply for the scholarship.

College admissions frustrations and how would you change it - $1,000
Stephanie Sidwell of Colchester, Illinois is a liberal arts major at Spoon River College. Her essay response focused on the problems more nontraditional (or older) students face when trying to enroll in college. Her suggestions for improving the process, such as weighting high school grades based on your age and using an aptitude test for students of a particular age, were concise and realistic for colleges to actually implement.
